A lock for the door of an automobile which is provided with an electrical signalling circuit for indicating to the driver whether the lock is opened, partially closed, or fully closed. The lock has a main supporting body. A movable member is held on the body and assumes a first position when the lock is closed, a second position when the lock is partially closed and a third position when the lock is open. The lock also includes a magnet switch which is connected in the electrical signalling circuit. A projection is connected with the movable member such that when the movable member is in the first position at which the lock is fully closed, the projection is interposed between the reed relay and the permanent magnet and this interrupts the magnetic flux lines between the magnet and the reed relay contacts, causing the contacts to open and opening the electrical signalling circuit. eleven The invention relates to automobile locks, equipped with an electrical alarm system. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the lock. A lock 1 is installed at the end 2 of the door 3, which is located opposite the end 4 of the body 5 when the door is closed. The lock contains a bracket 6 and a forking mechanism 7 in the form of a fork that can rotate around an axis 8 fixed to the bracket 6. The capture mechanism 7 with the door closed is aligned with the locking pin 9, mounted on the end 4 of the body 5, and can occupy the first position corresponding to the closed lock, the second position corresponding to the incompletely closed lock, and the third position corresponding to the open lock. The handle 10, which serves to open the lock, is located on the outer surface 11 of the door 3. The roller 12 allows to use the key to activate the lock 1 outside the vehicle. The rotary element 13 is rigidly mounted on the axis 8 of the grip mechanism 7. A control lever 14 is pivotally mounted on an axis 15 together with a pivoting lever 16. A spring 17 is mounted between the pivoting element 13 and the control lever 14, holding the gripping mechanism 7 in the position corresponding to the open lock. The control lever is provided with a protrusion 18 for interacting with the protrusions 19 and 20 of the pivoting element 13 to determine the positions corresponding to the closed and not fully closed lock. When the protrusion 1-8 touches with its surface 21 the edges 22 of the pivoting element 13, the locking mechanism takes the position corresponding to the open lock.
